We begin our third year!

Wow,

It is amazing to me that we are beginning our fourth year in Katy and our Third year as North Campus!

We sure do miss you all! However God is good, we have family here and are seeing God do amazing things in our faith family here!

2015 was a year filled with blessings and trials. One of the biggest blessings was God choosing to heal Kim! I won't re-tell the story here but if you want to get updated on all of that you can watch it here:

Victory and Freedom in Christ

We can't wait to see all that God has in store for our family moving forward!

One of our biggest trials in 2015 was that we as a campus have hit a ceiling as far as growth is concerned while being in a school. While Katy continues to grow more and more church plants have come to Katy in the past three years. There is virtually a plant in every school in Katy ISD now. This is good news for the advancement of the gospel! Yet it presents challenges for all of us because it creates a culture of transitory nature in regards to how the community views church. Inevitably many of those churches fizzle out or run out of money and so there is an ever revolving door of new plants coming in and 2 year old plants dying out. How this impacts us is that as long as we are in a school the community is hesitant to full join in with what we are doing because the expectation is that we are a few months from dying out. While this is not the case, it is a hard hurdle to overcome while in school.

We have spent the last year looking for a more permanent solution whit little success. Because of the above mentioned issues literally no storefront lease property will lease to churches. so we have turned our attention to business warehouses. In October we thought we had found the one and entered into negotiations, hired an architect and builder for the build out and then just last week when we went to sign the lease the landlord reneged wanting more money because he knows our predicament in finding a place that will lease to a church in our area. So we bowed out. If the landlord is going to act this way before we even sign the lease we don't feel right about entering into partnership with them.

So the search is on again.

We think we have found an even better solution and are entering into negotiations with them. This is a 9000 s.f. building that we could build two story meeting space in with dedicated children and youth space along with many other things where we could house up to 600 people on any given Sunday as well as hold bible studies and mid week events that we can't do in the school. Would you pray with me for the Park Row location?

Pray that they would lease to us within our price range. Pray that we would be able to build it out to suit our needs. Pray that we would be in bytes summer. Pray that we would continue to be able to grow and reach N.E. Katy for Christ. Pray that Christ would give us the funds for build out.

Thank you all!

Jeff, Kim, Max, Joshua and Tate
